5 Star Certification
The Five Star Certification program is our training focused on the important fundamentals of servicing Yamaha products. Technicians work through 10 self-paced video programs covering service theory and diagnostics, with three more specialized programs for service managers. At the end of each program, the technician or service manager takes an online test. He or she becomes Five Star Certified only by passing all the tests. Each certified technician and service manager gets exclusive uniform patches and a diploma identifying Five Star achievement.

Once the dealer has both a Five Star-certified technician and service manager, he or she also gets Five Star recognition in the Dealer Locator section of this website, as well as a plaque to display in the dealership. This is to let you, the consumer, know that they have completed the Five Star requirements.
